HKC Consultants was born out of seven years spent inside organizations, seeing hiring from the other side of the table. As an in-house recruiter, our founder learned firsthand what it really takes to build a team that lasts and what it costs, in time, money, and momentum, when a hire doesn’t work out.

That experience shaped a simple belief: staffing shouldn’t feel transactional. It should feel like a partnership with someone who understands your world, takes the time to get it right, and treats every placement like it matters, because it does.

That belief became HKC Consultants. Today, we specialize in healthcare, behavioral health, and legal recruiting. Three industries where the stakes of a bad hire are especially high, and where trust, discretion, and expertise aren’t optional. We work closely with a select group of clients, not a high-volume roster, because tailored service only works when there’s a real relationship behind it.
